Roland Clement was 102, died in his Hamden, CT home on March 21, 2015. Loving husband of his late wife Muriel; beloved father. Defender of nature. As National Audubon Society Vice President, Roland championed endangered bird breeding and banning of DDT. Catalyst to numerous initiatives including Environmental Defense Fund, Norwalk's Planning and Zoning Commission, the Army Corps of Engineers environmental advisory committee, Connecticut and Rhode Island Audubon. Celebration of life was held March 24th.
